New Features

Equipment Installation

  • TMS now includes a fully featured installation tracking process covering originating warehouses, subcontractors and engineers.
  • The various parts and pieces of equipment making up an order can now be recorded in the inners pop up including stock code, description, serial numbers and other references.
  • Packing process allows equipment to be consolidated into pallets, cartons etc and labels produced.
  • New Final Manifest option allows you to assign your order to the responsible engineer while giving the transport leg to a different company.
  • Receipt scan allows Engineers and secondary warehouses to scan incoming orders on their smartphones. These scans are then validated and any shortages dealt with on the ‘Blind Stock Scan’ screen.
  • ‘Job Item Split’ screen allows engineers & warehouses to split orders to allow installation by different teams.
  • New Equipment installation layout on the TrackTrans App allows engineers to confirm what items have been installed on site (either through scanning or selecting from the screen). Non installed items are confirmed with reason why and decommissioned stock can be scanned and associated with the order.
  • The new ‘Installed reports’ reporting suite gives full visibility on location, status and condition of all sent out equipment.

Barcode Tracking

  • End to end barcode scanning system now available in TMS.
  • For single depot operations pallet / carton labels can be scanned at depot, collection and delivery points.
  • Trunk loading / unloading scans available for multi depot users.
  • Runs on the TT app and is compatible with camera scanning, Bluetooth scanners or inbuilt scanners.

Scheduled networks

  • New timetabling options for integrated depot networks.
  • Set jobs for each depot to be auto planned and exported at a set time each day.
  • Set integrated depot routes for going between destinations (e.g. collected by Exeter, trunked to Birmingham, trunked to Glasgow, delivered from Glasgow).
  • Journey times screen gives a colour coded overview of overdue deliveries, timings of shipments and current status of jobs.

Outbound work order

  • New outbound work order tab allows the picking, building and testing of an order to be recorded in TMS.
  • Opportunity to add multiple activities against an order and finalise when each stage completed.
  • Outbound Report screen gives high level overview of what stage each orders at, when it’s due to leave and if there are any issues holding up completion.

Other

  • New options on Quantity line
    • ‘Dim’ button allows dimensions to be added against a quantity. Cube value is then auto calculated based on dimensions.
    •  New warning triangle allows individual quantity lines to be marked as hazardous. When clicked allows UN code and packing group to be recorded.
  • New options added for references. Reference types can now be flagged as unique (only 1 ref of this type allowed per job). Minimum length can also be specified and the reference can be flagged as required when creating jobs for certain customers.
  • Job master reference now exported to subcontractors as ‘Cust master’. This field now also appears in the unallocated jobs screen.
  • Inners pop up is automatically sorted by stock code upon opening.
  • Job Enquiry screen now allows users to search for jobs by serial number (inners pop up).
  • First line of the address now shows up in the address pop up.
  • Stock scan button allows per item (inner details) receipt scanning. When clicked a job is sent to the relevant handset to confirm / scan in each piece of equipment pertaining to that order.
  • Types of labels produced can now be set on a per user basis.
  • New label options added to TMS.
    • 4 to an A4 page with barcode
    • Zebra label with barcode
    • A5 label with barcode
    • Shipping label (barcoded zebra)
    • Labels can be set to auto print on job creation.
  • Add emails to jobs. New feature only available on firefox, drag emails from your email client into the ‘Drag emails here’ box on job screen. Email details will then be copied into the job and will be viewable by clicking the ‘E-mails’ button.
  • Service type now exported from TMS.
  • Option to set a default collection address against a user login. This address will be automatically selected when creating relevant jobs.
  • When displaying references master ref now always appears at the top.
  • From and To addresses on job screen now also search for address shortname (must be exact).
  • New option on job screen to produce item labels. This produces 1 label (containing del address, customer, job number, master) for each inner against the job.
  • New column ‘EQT’ (Equipment) in Unallocated Jobs screen & add jobs pop up. Hovering over it shows the list of inners for that job along with their serial numbers.
  • New option for incoming edi jobs to be greyed out until jobs or labels are scanned / confirmed received.
  • Unallocated jobs – Grp, Batch Ref, Source dpt and Cust Ref columns set to hide if no contents present.
  • Addresses can now be edited from EDI job accept screen.
  • Improvements to layout and general display of EDI Job accept.
  • Batch ref added to EDI job accept screen.
  • Drivers can now be set to multi depot allowing them to be assigned work in any active depot.
  • Reason dropdown added to costing notes pop up. Options can added through the ‘Costing Reason Codes’ admin screen under defaults.
  • New option to have a default start time for loads / manifests.
  • Planning a load for a driver who’s on holiday that day now brings up a warning message on the load screen.
  • Customer reference added to pre-advise screen.
  • Customer reference, problem reference and headings added to pre-advise pop up.
  • New equipment list option on edit trunk screen. Allows a part level report to be produced of all jobs on the trunk.
  • Equipment filter added to unallocated jobs screen and add jobs pop up.
  • Diary screen can be set to show the Master Reference of each job.
  • Diary screen defaults to show only drivers/vehicles who have jobs on the displayed days, but can be set to show all active drivers/vehicles whether they have jobs planned on the displayed days or not.
  • Filtering added to Diary so that external customers can only see their own jobs.
  • New table added to POD screen to display equipment associated with job. Equipment can be marked installed, not required, faulty, fit later or missing. Also displays parts that have been re-assigned or returned.
  • New optional setting to allow ‘POD Entry’ screen to work across all depots.
  • Improvements on transport pricing screen for slow connections.
  • Adding a charge to an excluded job now bring us a warning and unticks the exclude box.
  • Fixed issue on pricing screen with Internet Explorer 11.
  • Improved compatibility with older versions of Internet Explorer.
  • Uncharged reports – All uninvoiced report now filterable by customer.
  • Movement creation updated for interactive pricing and EDI job accept.
  • Download excel box added to reprint by invoice number tab.
  • Order of jobs on Invoice preview / Invoices can now be set in Customer admin screen.
  • Invoices for more than one customer can now be downloaded as spreadsheets, previously this was only available to single customer invoices.
  • Drivers with holiday booked in the Holiday Planner can be set to show on the Diary screen as grey on the days they have booked off.
  • New working week option for holiday planner, ‘Mon-Fri excl bank hols’
  • Improved warnings if holiday booked at same time as other activity.
  • All depots tickbox added to Customers pop up in destinations admin screen. If ticked then the address will be available in all depots rather than just the one it was created in.
  • New option on units admin screen to say whether ‘Packaging’ unit or not. Only packaging units are usable in the packing process (as discussed in equipment installation section).
  • Asset warning screen changed to only shows enabled assets.
  • New option in customer admin to set a maximum weight per job for that customer. Any jobs entered / edited with a higher weight will trigger a warning message.
  • New database option to disable inner editing.
  • Signature capture improved on TMS App.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed limited view issue on load screen.
  • Fixed bug with movements not being added when exclude box ticked / unticked.
  • Fixed bug where customers set to ready without POD could not be readied if a POC had been received containing a problem.
  • Fixed bug with adding multiple charges on interactive pricing.
  • Fixed bug with ready box hoverover saying missing pod for ready without POD customers.
